Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Cancel anytime
You can cancel a Kiki subscription at any time from the customer portal, or by emailing us if the portal isn't available yet for your workspace. There's no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee.
What happens after you cancel
When you cancel, your plan stays fully active until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that date, your workspace automatically moves to the Free plan rather than losing access outright, so existing translations and settings for your first channel keep working.
Our refund stance
Because Kiki's cost is driven by usage during the billing period, we generally don't offer prorated refunds for unused time when you cancel partway through a monthly or annual cycle; instead, you keep access through the period you paid for, as above. We do make exceptions and will issue a full or partial refund when:
- You were charged twice for the same billing period by mistake;
- A technical failure on our side prevented Kiki from working for a significant part of the period; or
- You cancel within 7 days of your first paid charge on a new subscription, if you had genuinely not been able to use the feature you upgraded for.
To request a refund under any of these circumstances, email [email protected] with your workspace name and the charge date. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
Downgrades
Downgrading from Business to Pro, or from Pro to Free, takes effect at the start of your next billing period; you keep your current plan's features until then. We don't charge a fee to downgrade.
Refund processing times
Approved refunds are issued back through PayPal to your original payment method. Refunds to a PayPal balance usually appear within a day; refunds to a card can take 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
