# Kiki — Automatic Slack Translation (full reference)

Kiki is a Slack app that translates messages automatically so multilingual teams can
each write and read in their own language. Made by ARTranslation Technologies (OPC)

## How it works
- Add Kiki to a Slack workspace (2 minutes, free plan, no credit card).
- In any channel, set 2-4 languages: run /translate, or just say
  "Hey Kiki, set English and Japanese here".
- Every message posted is language-detected and translated automatically; the
  translation is posted as a thread reply (or in-channel), visible to everyone.
- React to any message with a country flag emoji to translate that one message.
- Mirror mode: link two or more channels (each with its own language) into one
  group; every message is re-posted translated into the linked channels under the
  original author's name. Setup: "Hey Kiki, set this channel and #other to mirror
  each other."
- Business glossary: pin preferred translations for product and industry terms.
- Acronym expansion: teach Kiki team acronyms so translations expand them correctly.
- "Hey Kiki" assistant: conversational setup, help, and ad-hoc translation in
  channels and DMs.

## Pricing (per workspace, not per seat)
- Free: 1 channel, 2 languages, 1,000 translated messages/month. Free forever.
- Pro: $19/month — unlimited channels, up to 4 languages per channel, higher limits.
- Business: $49/month — everything in Pro plus mirror channels, the Hey Kiki
  assistant, glossary and acronyms at team scale.
- Enterprise: custom (volume pricing, SLA, signed DPA, security review).
- Comparison: Slack's built-in translation requires the whole team on Slack
  Business+ (about $15/user/month) and translates only privately, one click at a
  time. Kiki posts translations for the whole channel on any Slack plan.

- Payments processed by PayPal; card data never touches Kiki's servers.
